Kittens up for Adoption- Litter One

The Duff Estate has recently been *cough* blessed by 3 litters of kittens; coming to a total of 9 kittens invading this heavenly acreage! (One mother decided to settle in and share our food without telling us she was expecting... hmmm.)

These kittens will soon be needing homes, and the good news is; we have both boys and girls, in any color you could ever want! Black, orange, white, and all fluffy and sooo cute. Take your pick; they're free! (Give us a call at 402.685.6603 to arrange a pick up.)

Names are not permanent. ;) (Genders are not for sure; we have an idea but you better not take my word for it!)

Litter #1

Apple (cream colored boy) - very lovable personality; loves to be held!
Sun (orange boy)- A curious little guy! Likes to play.

Blackberry (black and white striped girl)- Adventurous and mischievous!

We Are Relocating!

The Duff Family believes God is leading them to relocate after living 15 years in the Oakland area, therefore, we have our home and our business/building up for sale. We bought the home 15 years ago. The original house was built around 1900

In the beginning, we had the house lifted up and built a new basement (poured between extruded polystyrene panels), then re-wired and re-plumbed the house. We then slowly and completely remodeled it, step-by-step. Why are we moving after all that work?! Only God could make us do that! We love the quietness and natural beauty of living in the country.

We bought a building in Oakland and started a fitness center 3 ½ years ago, first remodeling the big room for the fitness center. We opened it in Sept., 2004. We have had a lot of fun running it, exercising and getting to know the people in Oakland better.

There is also an apartment and an office that are rented.

Then we remodeled the room on the north, adding a bathroom and kitchen. We have lots of ideas of what could be done with this room, but since we’re planning to move, we’ll leave that to the creativity of the next owner, as we pass the baton. So far, we have used the room for exercise and dance classes and sporadic events.

The basement is not finished, but is 2 big, long rooms (25’ x 100’ each) with a nice concrete floor. It would be great for some kind of manufacturing, storage or internet business. We’ve also considered a recreational business, like slot cars or a recording studio.

So, there are existing streams of income with room for more with this building.

We are offering a significant discount if someone wants to purchase both of them!
